Biography

Considering she joined a local theatre group at the age of 10, it’s probably fair to say that acting had always been the career for Michelle Ryan. In fact, whilst still a young teenager she appeared in two UK TV shows (The Worst Witch and Burnside). Her first big acting break came when she landed the role of Zoe Slater on BBC Soap Eastenders at the tender age of fifteen. Not only did this role put her in the living rooms of millions of British TV viewers three times a week, but it also gave her the opportunity to show her dramatic acting talents in what was a very demanding character role.

Michelle moved on from Eastenders in 2005, after rumours that the gruelling schedule was taking its toll on her health. Since then she has appeared in films Cashback and I Want Candy, TV period drama Mansfield Park and is currently appearing in NBC’s remake of the Bionic Woman.

As someone who has always made an impact with her amazing figure and stunning looks, you wouldn’t be surpised to here that Michelle regularly features in ‘Sexiest Woman‘ polls. In 2002 she was ranked #70 in FHMs 100 Sexiest Women poll, although in 2004 she was #21 and in 2005 she hit the heady heights of #4. Who knows what the future holds!?

A keen fashion fan, Michelle can often be seen showing off outfits from her favourite designers Gucci, Prada and Miu Miu. In fact, she confesses to once having spent £1300 on a Gucci dress while in New York! (Not surprising considering she’s been quoted as believing shopping is a form of therapy…)
